I keep pricing simple, fair, and transparent — with no hidden charges, no pressure, and no unnecessary upselling.
Standard Support Rate
£50 per hour
This rate applies to:
- Home users
- Families
- Small businesses
The same rate is used for:
- On-site visits
- Remote support sessions
Time is charged only for the time spent helping you.
Short advice or assessment work is still charged at the same simple hourly rate.
Travel
- On-site visits within 15 miles of Ovingham are included.
- Beyond this, travel is charged at £0.45 per mile (one way).
This follows standard HMRC mileage guidance and keeps travel costs fair and predictable.
If travel charges apply, I’ll always make that clear in advance.
Monthly Support Blocks (Optional)
For customers who want regular help or occasional ongoing support, support blocks can be purchased in advance.
These are suitable if you:
- Need occasional help across the month
- Prefer predictable costs
- Want a trusted point of contact without contracts
Support blocks:
- Are flexible and used as needed
- Can be discussed informally to suit your situation
- Do not lock you into long-term commitments

Training & Group Sessions
I offer small, practical training sessions for individuals, families, and small groups who want to feel more confident using technology.
Training is always discussed in advance, with clear pricing agreed before anything is booked.
Sessions can be delivered:
- Remotely (video call)
- In person at a suitable venue
Training is typically focused on everyday topics such as:
- Staying safe online and avoiding scams
- Email, photos, and cloud storage
- Using smartphones, tablets, and computers confidently
- General digital skills and questions
Pricing depends on:
- Session length
- Group size
- Delivery method (remote or in person)
What to Expect
- Work is billed based on time spent
- I’ll always explain likely costs before proceeding
- If something isn’t cost-effective to fix, I’ll say so
- There’s no obligation to continue if you’d rather stop
